The Greatest Prophet

Most people are aware of Jesus Christ as our Savior. Few understood Him as the Greatest Prophet. In the modern day where the world has been shrunk by technology, and where many people have lived which claimed to be prophets sent by God, we need to consider this topic with all seriousness and reverence. There are many competing faiths out there. We need to search the scriptures to understand the Will of God. Our salvation depends on this!

Israel of old was warned by God not to accept just any prophet, as they may be false prophets:

“And Jehovah said to me, The prophets prophesy lies in My name; I did not send them, nor have I commanded them, nor did I speak to them. They prophesy to you a false vision and a worthless divination, and a thing of no value, and the deceit of their heart.”

(Jeremiah 14:14, MKJV)

God does not accept a false prophet or his or her followers. Their vision of the future under their control will not work. Their followers will not receive salvation, nor peace in their lifetime. Be careful with whom you associate. Be careful who you follow.

At His first advent Jesus also personally warned His followers about following false prophets. They will appear godly and religious, yet mislead unsuspecting people. The results of their following will eventually lead to disaster:

“Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?

(Matthew 7:15-16, MKJV)

Jesus warned people to be very careful. People must look at the results of following the prophet. Does it bring peace? Does it bring prosperity?

The Apostle Peter also warned the people. He highlighted one aspect of measurement:

“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who secretly will bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.”

(1 Peter 2:1, MKJV)

False prophets will deny the Messiah, and their followers will see destruction. They will deny the space and opportunity for evangelizing in the name of Jesus. They will deny the status of Jesus with the heavenly Almighty God. They will deny the Messiah who bought us out of the hands of Satan.

This study is essential in today's world where globalists want people to accept that all religions are the same, and all prophets are equal, and we all worship the same God. But is God divided? Will he give salvation to different nations and peoples worshipping in different ways?

These are serious questions that needs to be studied and proven. Our ultimate salvation is at stake.
